WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

  • Stay Prayed Up

Stay Prayed Up and in fellowship. This is essential in the believer's daily life. Coming to God in private, personal prayer and letting Him know your struggles, needs, desires giving Him praise is an important part in building a strong relationship with Him. Moreover, coming together to fellowship, to pray and to study the Word with other believers encourages us and strengthens our spiritual growth. Scripture states that where two or more are gathered in His name, there He will be also.

    Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people."

    Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

As a home study group, we come together to Worship (contemporary worship), to pray, and to study the Word of God. As we grow spiritually by prayer and by being in the Word, the church congregation will to grow spiritually, developing a closer relationship with the Lord. As our congregation grows, so might our need for a larger location. Until then, we will stay prayed up.

  • Stay Read Up

Stay Read Up by studying the Word of God. We use the expository method of teaching the Bible. That is, we study verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, and book-by-book through the entire Bible.

    Isaiah 28:10 (NKJV)

"For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little.”

    Ephesians 6:14-17 (NKJV)

"Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Knowing God and learning about Him is essential in a believer's life, and living a life that is a reflection of God is also very important. The more we learn about Him, the better we come to understand Him, and the more we will live our lives in a way that He desires. This encourages us to love each other better, serve one another with willing and eager hearts, and grow together spiritually. As a home study, we strive to grow in the Word and grow spiritually. As we grow in the Word, the Lord will add to the Church. Until then, we will stay read up.

  • Never Give Up

Never Give Up, because He is faithful and true. He has kept every promise and will keep all future promises as well. We recognize that we will grow in God's timing, so we will remain faithful to Him.

    Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV)

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."

    Deuteronomy 7:9 (NKJV)

"Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments."

As a home study group, we recognize that the Lord will add to His church, so we will remain faithful on what He has called us to do. With this in mind, we have stored up hope that you will come alongside us as we serve the community of Fayetteville together, as a family of believers. Until then and always, we will remain faithful and never give up.
